beginnings, not endings

Some fragments of a project that I started about Ancient Egypt, using monoprint collage. Although I think there is some potential in these images (especially that of the sky goddess, Nut) there just wasn't enough of an idea behind the project to begin with and that stopped me moving forward with it. It's an idea I would revisit in the future. Maybe being too figurative in my imagery wasn't helpful either, I think if I were to continue this work in future it would be more shape, colour and pattern based.
