Weaving for the Batsford Prize 2018

I made this weaving to enter into the Batsford Prize 2018. The theme was 'Craving Colour', which is something I've felt a lot about my own work recently. Been working too much in muted shades, ready for brighter pops.

This was so much fun, and the I feel the process taught me an awful lot about colour and how colours work together. I think the weave is well composed and the colours and patters compliment each other. The right side of nutty. I learned from my last weave and worked thinner, meaning it was much quicker to create patterns and I didn't get bored.
